What About a .TRUST Domain?
ICANN, the international organization that administrates domain names (.com, .org, .biz, and, yes, .aero and .museum) is considering how it will go about evaluating and granting requests for new "global top-level domains" (as an example, among those being considered are .nyc, .paris, and .berlin). Right now, WebWatch is evaluating ICANN's policy documents in order to make comments and recommendations on behalf of consumers in time for an international ICANN meeting in Los Angeles in two weeks.
