Microsoft Issues Emergency Security Patch

Our friends at StopBadware.org alerted us yesterday afternoon that Microsoft released an emergency security patch for Windows last night.

Microsoft typically releases security patches on the second Tuesday of each month, on what has come to be known as "Patch Tuesday." Although details remain hazy, whenever Microsoft has diverged from its Patch Tuesday routine in the past, it's always been to plug a major security breach being exploited by cyber criminals.

So don’t delay and use Windows Update to patch your PC pronto!
