Protect Yourself During National Consumer Protection Week

March 1-7 is National Consumer Protection Week, a federal initiative highlighting consumer protection and education efforts across the country. This year's campaign, "Nuts and Bolts: Tools for Today’s Economy," features a Web site full of useful information on topics such as free credit reports, identity theft, online fraud, avoiding auto repair scams and how to report credit repair scams.
